July 22nd, 2010Bios[editor, writer] Alexis Clements is a writer, performer and pamphleteer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She has received a Dramatists Guild Fellowship, the 2004 Washington Theater Festival Literary Prize, two Puffin Foundation Artist’s Grants, and a Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation Grant. Productions include: Place ReImagined (NYC); Your Own Personal Apocalypse (NYC); The Interview (Edinburgh Festival); and Pieces (Washington, DC & Iowa City, IA). Publications include: selected plays in KNOCK Magazine, short stories in US and UK collections, and articles in Nature, The Brooklyn Rail and The Guardian.
